In addition to getting the worse strain of WuhanVirus, NY has mass transit that is the main mode of transportation.

LA & CA does not, and got the less worse strain of the virus.

Good point, I forgot how much NYC relies on subways for transportation. I would love to see if cities like Boston are having similar problems due to the reliance on the subway system as well, but I have not heard any apocalyptic from them like New York City yet.
