My view on homemade masks is that if the viral load is reduced, that means:

--Less folks get seriously ill since their immune system has a better chance to fight off the virus

--Which means less folks get hospitalized

--Which means a big win for the health care system

--Which in turn means less triage

--Which in turn leads to a lower death rate.

Of course, all you said is TRUE. I’m going to try to make face masks today, and there are a bazillion patterns online. I’d just like to see it more detailed.
