Thank god for that. They just set up hospitals at Javits Center in NYC. How often do you thing someone had to go to the local hardware store to buy stuff to get it all set up? You thing the central planners at the Army Corps of Engineers have a complete list of everything needed for all contingencies?

I was a nuclear submarine officer. I hate to tell you how much stuff had to be jury rigged at sea or scrounged ashore because required parts, tools and supplies weren't on hand or in the system.
So if you think central planning works especially in the military, you are dead wrong. American military know that and so they know how to improvise. It's the strength of our democracy.
And yes, I am also talking about the average Joe. But you think you know better. So you are just like the useless bureaucrats who surround me here in DC.
