This is the THIRD time in twenty years that a dangerous (to the world) virus has originated in China and escaped. China is effectively making war on the whole world. Including itself, but its ruling elite, the Chinese Communist Party, doesn't care about that. We should, even if it means armed conflict.
Which won't be necessary. We can bring down the CCP with the same means we used to bring down the USSR. One of those means, and the most necessary one, is to educate the American people about the nature of the threat. THAT is where you and I are completely at odds.
And, as a practical matter, I believe there is now a meaningful chance that the CCP will lose power within ten years. Xi is already a dead man walking.
