That actually is a data point. A cruel one considering other bile salts may be useful in treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine uses bear bile and they do achieve “certain” results. I suspect pharmaceutical grade would be just as effective and related to lipid alterations with the virus. ACE2 is highly expressed in the gallbladder and lesser extent in the liver. This would indicate the virus is disrupting bile metabolism either secondary or conjugated.
