The local Sprouts is out of zinc, and has been for a week or so.

I ordered zinc picolinate last night for a friend. It is due for delivery by April 21. I ordered last Fridat for myself and it is already at the Post Office for picj up. The people figured out something very quickly, eh?

I suggest taking several calcium/magnesium/zinc tablets a day. I have not found any good source of just zinc, but one also needs cal/mag, especially if elderly or depressed. My other health maintenance recommendations continue to be:
1 gram Vitamin C morning and evening. More if ill
Vitamin D 2000 to 4000 IU, depending on sun exposure and winter depression (SAD).
a good multivitamin/multimineral table 1 or 2 a day depending on stress level.
And, of course, the cal/mag/zinc, several a day
Another good one is Pantothenic Acid, strengthens the adrenals

Regarding zinc, the fact that it appears one of the symptoms of Covid is loss of taste and smell, and one of the symptoms of zinc deficiency is loss of taste and smell, I now wonder if countries or regions with high zinc levels in soil/groundwater might have lower Covid death rates. Next piece of research!
