If I understand correctly, NYT wrote some #FakeNews (surprise) claiming that a given Dr. Colleen Smith told them a hospital in NYC had no ventilators, etc., etc., and some enterprising anon called the hospital and was told there is no such person.

That's what I understood as well. Further, the digs on the page revealed that she in an expert in simulations.....

My last general twitter stroll had something about this Dr. Colleen Smith and turned out she didn’t work at the hospital she claimed to. Should be on this Q thread as of yesterday.

Here in Wa State, you may recall seeing a story about a Church up here hosting a choir that wound up with 2 dead and half the 160 person choir sick?

I did some checking, and it really looks like the story is a hoax/greatly exaggerated.

Not exactly uncommon for the media to not do much checking, but this seems more organized than just something random.

In the USA, each month normally 250,000 people die. Why such a catastrophe, world ender for supposedly 2,000 dead, in which case many of the 2,000 were already dying from something else?
