I can give you a status report on inventory at my Walmart. Today, for the first time in a long time the shelves are 90% filled. Only exception is Toilet Paper and Paper Towels. Also cleaning supplies. If they are implementing this new plan, I will assume they will start stocking those items on shelves next. It will allow us to see and verify who gets what quantity. As far as policing social distancing, our managers are standing at the ends of lines yelling out “6 feet distancing please”. It keeps people from cramming their stuff right up next to you and yours. I did notice it seems to be working. I also noticed aisles were still full of unloaded pallets of good to be put out as of 11:30 last night. This is also good news. As I have said to many customers in conversation tonight, we seem to be approaching the end of this dire time and we will come out on the bright side hopefully much sooner than expected. Prayers up for us ALL.
Here in PHX, AZ, the stores are placing tape or signs on the floors, marking 6 feet intervals.
Safeway(s) and Circle K(s).
ThankQ for the on-the-ground report!
Thank you for the report, sounds promising.
Things were good at a southern Wisconsin Walmart on Wednesday.
Even had good selection of TP.
Hang in there, and thanks for keeping your customers supplied!
