BEcause the supply chains don’t exist. I don’t see why it can’t be done though. LEt the accountants catch up later.

So why can’t the commercial TP be sold in stores?

Might need to try contacting a janitorial supply or other commercial warehouse. I think I've seen it from a Grainger catalog or website. It might be 1 ply and scratchy on huge rolls but it's better than a newspaper.

I have not been to the store since early March, before shortages. So I don't know nuthin'. But seems with all the businesses closed their TP could be sold/donated/scavenged. Locally, in Texas, restaurants are now allowed to sell groceries, I wonder if they couldn't obtain that commercial TP from the same suppliers that supply their business?

Don't know. Just noodling.

You may find it on Amazon. I saw a bunch available there the last time I looked (but a lot of the branding looked Chinese).
