Thanks for the info. I always viewed Nixon in a fairly positive light. Recently I’ve seen suggestions that he had some peripheral involvement in the JFK assassination, or at least some foreknowledge. Not sure how much truth there is to that.

RMN was present at the infamous meeting at the Dallas home of Clint Murchison the night before JFK's assassination. Others said to have been there--where among other things, the $50,000 compensation for each of the shooters was affixed.--were H.L. Hunt and J. Edgar Hoover.
RMN was said to be on Dealey Plaza 11/22/63. RMN was a high muckety-muck paymaster in the CIA at the time (That is, he was authorized to draw from the black ops slush funds.) He was a precursor to Nicholas Deak.
