Comet ATLAS coming at the end of April. Once in generation event.
“Currently (2 April) shining with a greenish glow around magnitude +7.5 and traversing the somewhat obscure northern constellation of Camelopardalis (the Giraffe) at a rate of about two-thirds of a degree per day, C/2019 Y4 has brightened 6000-fold in the last two months. If it continues at the predicted rate, the comet could be a naked-eye object from rural locations around the time of new Moon on 23 April.”
ThankQ to those who saw my post earlier seeking + appreciating prayers for my father; after a 5 hour surgery he’s out, in ICU + alive. The aging thing sucks ;)
Interestingly FYI my dad is a liberal agnostic who gets his news from CNN & 60 Minutes & has an Obama bumper sticker on his car (but the most honest + decent person you could ever know).

I was in a grocery market store yesterday and they had an arrow path for going through. Checker had gloves on and checked person before me, then checked me. I noted that gloves didn’t do much good unless you change them between customers. Customer handled all of her items, then you did, if she had it, you’d be distributing it. Guy at next check stand grumbled “That’s the guidlines”...
thanks for the report. The only person helped by the gloves was the checker.
