So it basically starts in either the sinus or lungs, then goes to heart, then kidneys?

I ask because my brother has severe kidney issues (it probably wouldn’t get that far in him).

That may be the primary cause of transfer. Anywhere ACE2 is expressed would relate to systemic infection.

This particular virus I suspect has other modes of infection in the olfactory pathway and potentially to neurological effects.

Just pieces of data here and there that show non-ACE2 locations of infection.

SARs1 was known for causing kidney damage and failure.
