for the first story, why can’t you put a bubble over the CPR victim’s head?, The static charge would trap some virus at least, and any air expired would mostly stay in the hood, reducing viral load. Move outside to further reduce/dilute load.

second story - I’m on day 14 of my self-quarantine YAY I made it! But have I? argh.

It seems like the EMTs could have masks and splash guards on.

I guess the viral load, being aerosolized, is now considered too risky, for these first responders.

What a freaking nightmare.

No wonder so many are/were trying to flee that disaster zone city.
