Lock him down!! There is no hope! Millions will die or hundreds of thousands or some amount. The only answer to this is to lock down the gun stores, open the abortion clinics, embrace free government money and to calm out the National Guard to go door to door and ensure your compliance.

Anyone not accepting this is a flubro.

My daughter works at Lowes and mentioned that she's seen this attitude from many old-timers. "I didn't go to Vietnam only to be told that I should hide away in my house."

The problem is that her employer is requiring her to keep her distance, and she comes across a lot of people on any given day. She said they seem to try to make a point of getting up in her face to prove they're not worried about it. Which worries her.

She said the only real "problem" customers she has are the "old people".

That’s similar to Mom’s attitude. She’s 96, remembers life during the Great Depression, and hard times through WWII (was a “Rosie The Riveter” — except she was a welder). She doesn’t go out and take big chances like this guy, but can’t believe how freaked out people are.

A very good FRiend, who I think is no longer with us, was a Marine on Guam.

Received a Bronze Star for flame-throwering the shit out of a couple of Japanese emplacements.

I thought it was funny because his name was Burns.

My father, who was a radio mechanic on Guam in WWII, would be 96. He hasn’t been around for over 2 decades now, but I wonder how he would react to the present situation.

My parents are only in their 80s, but are incredulous about how people are so willing to give up their civil liberties.

Talk about anecdotal!

I HATE these MEANINGLESS, ONE OFF, stories.

I mean what useful information do we glean from this story?

95 year olds needn’t worry?

If you’ve been to GUAM you are immune?

If you were in “the big one” WWII you’ll live forever? (sorry, but most of them are already dead)

If THIS guy survived EVERYONE can?

From our best scientists, the number of deaths in the USA from the Coronavirus will be between 100,000 and 2,200,000.
(I’m glad they were able to narrow it down for us)

Urinalism today! Sensationalize the news or it isn’t news.

It’s funny to read a lot of the comments about this fellow. It’s depressing that so few get it.

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING.

Whether you are defending against an overwhelming force during world war II or fighting some kind of odd ball virus in 2020, attitude makes a huge difference in survival rate.

No, that doesn’t mean I’ll go out and do stupid stuff, but it also doesn’t mean I’ll wimp around like a frightened little deer. I’ve been through quite a few bad things in my life and more than a few close shaves.

I’ll follow most of the guidelines, but I’ll be dammed if I’m going to worry about it all day or watch that nonstop crap on television.

I heard him on Glenn Beck’s radio show today. He was inspiring.
