It’s a "good news, bad news,” situation. The good news is that being President Biden’s political heir would be a direct ticket to the presidency.The bad news is that, for that very reason, being Biden’s VP candidate would legitimately require that candidate to withstand presidential level scrutiny during the election campaign. And pulling that off so well that the VP candidate would be able to carry Biden over the finish line. Against Trump - who has already labeled her “half."
