The virus has flattened my 40 yo niece, a medical transport driver, for two weeks now. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital two days ago. Test came back positive today. She is refusing a respirator for now, and not in the ICU, just a bed on the Coronavirus floor.

The costs for her medical care will be high. I pray the Coronavirus doesn't cost her her life and that she doesn't become of one of those statistics I post nightly.

If images of a huge naval hospital ship sitting in New York Harbor doesn't make someone realize this is something serious, and unprecedented, I don't know what would.
