I hear that hospitals have been putting off elective surgeries. That was in anticipation of being overrun with virus patients. But the virus patients haven’t flooded the hospitals at least not yet.
Regarding the virus patients havent flooded the hospitals at least not yet.... I noted about 3 weeks ago at our hospital they were pretty much set up for this virus.....the large physicians office I went to nearby wasn’t “buzzing” as usual rather appeared ready and ‘in the waiting mode’....
I’m very glad they weren’t really busy because this down time let them relax and have an extended break from the usual pace before the flood comes in, where they’ll be lucky if they can catch their breath. two weeks later it started and within less than a weeek the count went from 0 to over 40 cases....and even now it’s just begun.
