Just got a call from an older friend. He was MI and an expert in the sun- sun storms and sun flares. Still is part of network. He had been asked to help figure when the sun flare that is heading our way will arrive. Told me it had the power to knock out cell and WiFi service. Planes would have to be grounded temporarily. They are refiguring daily. He told me a week- or two is rough estimate.
It would certainly be another reason to keep
People at home and cut down on flying. Be prepared. He doesn’t think it will bother the electric grids But who knows.
