Burnet Co. isn’t testing. This from the county health dept. doctor - “Even though we have only three positives in our county, one of the families thats positive has nine other contacts, either family members or people they worked with that also have the symptoms. We dont have the ability to test all of those people, but we know those people are positive. One of the other families they have a family of seven people. All of those people have been out and have been working. The particular person who is positive has been out and working. When I asked them, saying the Blanco family, has worked here in our county. The Llano cases, one of those cases is a healthcare worker. These people are everywhere. We asked these people in the last week, where have you gone? A lot of them say they have gone to H-E-B and Wal-Mart.”
Great.
Super Spreaders on the loose, in Central TX.
Grrrr.
I just read a post, on another thread, that made it sound like Austin hospitals are not busy.
I’m wondering if a lot of hospital/outpatient centers are going to see a big slowdown, due to elective procedures being cancelled/postponed.
Burnet County is so small, they probably don’t even have a Public Health Department. They should should be getting support from the State, but I’m guessing that isn’t happening.
