That’s rich, coming from a scared baby like you! Sheesh. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Do we really have an economy right now?
This won’t age well.
I'm not scared about the virus. President Trump is in charge and doing what he needs to do to combat it. He's up to speed and protecting us.
People are rightfully concerned about families who can't "telework" or otherwise sit on their ass and collect a check. They are not some national economic abstractions. They are real-life human beings who are being destroyed by this shutdown.
That's a rhetorical question right?
After signing a bill that incentivizes unemployment, I’m less enthused about a quick recovery.
I’ve said from the beginning that if people stop doing business, governments stop receiving tax money. That is the big one for me.
And a lot of Seattle restaurants closed their doors forever a month ago when that nursing home got hit.
The fact is that the longer this goes, the more the economy (world) shrinks. And this is not good for an economic model based on growth.
But make of it what you will.
Only if you've lost faith in President Trump's ability to win....
Apologies if I blended another user with you in my mind. I thought you were one of the virus panic pushers.
As opposed to choking to death on their own phlegm?
I have faith in the president; your vanity post, not too much.
He is.
That’s right. Thank God we have President Trump at the helm right now.
Was thinking more along the lines of post 9 by cuban leaf.
I know. It was sarcasm. :)
Look at it this way...IF the world contracts at the same time who is in the best position right now to bounce back strong? That's right...THIS nation....
Your mention of Seattle also brought up another positive...what areas are getting hardest hit by the virus? That's right..liberal enclaves.
Not a small business owner and none among your family, friends or acquaintances I suspect.
Theres every reason to be upset about looming economic calamity. Small businesses are the real engine of this country and they really cant hang on much longer.
As far as President Trump, hes aware and attempted to promote an early end to this. He appears to have been jawboned into extending it though. I trust the man but hes not always right, right out of the box. He corrects course quickly when it becomes clear that theres a problem so its forgivable.
I have faith in Jesus, and in the man that Jesus put in the White House.
However, the economy is in as much trouble as the country is and as we are.
We are not in a good spot at all.
