I'm in a tourist area. Floridians vacation here and some have a second home here in the mtn's. In the past few years we have had people move here from New York since the taxes are so low.

Our areas are very similar then. Right down to the reasons for going to Dollar General. Thankfully we are kinda "in the catbird's seat as to DG milk now. A friend owns a wrecking yard from whence he can see the dairy truck pull out of the DG parking lot. They also have first hour limited to seniors and the dairy delivered last Friday early enough that I got in that "senior's only" time. There's always perks to be found in this aging thing.
