I don’t fault him; Doctors are notorious for that - they deal with worth case scenarios and hope for better.

I think the "model" is something of a "worst-best case" scenario. That is, the best case if we act like our worst metropolitan area has acted (New York City).

The other charts, with various curves for each state, told a story of how things work if we are diligent about distancing and keeping our hygiene clean. NYC and NJ were obviously in much worse shape, as a result of reacting more slowly.

Washington's curve was starting to turn over - they reacted quickly to the issue, and contained it fairly well.

It was a very good, interesting press conference. I'm so glad that they're all on top of the situation. We're transitioning from reactive to proactive very quickly. Good leadership.
