Trade with China can legitimately be blamed.

But open borders? No! Open border immigrants are not to blame for this one.

To try to drag the kitchen sink into an irrelevant place destroys that side’s credibility.

Focus on shifting more manufacturing from China to the States (or at least to friendly countries). Don’t start with stupid stuff that destroys credibility.

You mean to tell me, if we had controlled our borders, which also include our airports, better, that we still be where we are now?

Chinese workers spread it in Washington, some of that may be open borders. Also NYC and California, port areas could be open borders.
