That’s funny. Has a Ray Stevens sound to it.
Heard that Costco has senior hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. It’s a little early for us, although we did go to Walmart last Tuesday at 6 a.m for their senior hour. Got everything we wanted or needed.
The SJWs have moved on to more fertile ground. Now they spend their holier than thou days policing the citizenry for over-buying for shelter in place and social distancing violations. A freeper reported that one of them actually reported a group of landscape workers saying, “They appear to be social distancing but I thought you (the police) should know about it”.
Have no doubt that these finger-waggers will watch their neighbors like a hawk and jump to report any perceived violation. What miserable lives they must lead.
“more effort to produce TP and get it to people who want it.”
There’s a TV commercial showing TP rolling off the conveyor belts at the factory — Angel Soft, I think — specifically targeted to current events. The message is basically, “We’re on our way!” Weird.
“But tractor trailer traffic has dropped significantly.”
I can see I-75 from my sewing room. To me, it seems trailer delivery truck traffic is much heavier. Car traffic is down to about 25% of what is normal, but more trucks, I think. It’s even much noisier, too.
Great story. (Did she get her TP?)
That’s interesting. Maybe with this TP freak-out, someone should clue in POTUS. He’s killing regs every day, and this pulp/paper issue is a BFD and important to America.
“Thanks to FR, I stocked up on food 2 weeks before the panic buying.”
Ditto.
And they can ship the bailed pulp over to the USA and then the TP can be made in a mill here. Matter of fact, that is what a lot are doing.
So your contributing to the destruction of the rain forests in say..Indonesia and you dont even know it. And I say that as a fact. The Chinese are involved in the utter and complete deforestation of vast areas of South East Asia. They cut it, and get out.
All these freaks talk about climate change. Yet millions of acres of those tropical rain forests are being mowed down, changing the weather patterns of whole continents and not one of those SOBs will say a thing. While here, in the USA, Europe, etc, we are sustaining our forest by good forest management which is resulting in MORE timber lands being established...that is NON federal Forest lands. The feds are letting it go to rot and burn.
I am glad that the trucks are rolling on I-75.
My property is on a state highway that is normally heavy with truck traffic. My work is on a different state highway that has also become void of truck traffic. This is a rural area so we are low priority.
NAFTA critically injures our industry and EPA kicks it while it is down.
This is all by design.
Almost no TP in the burbs of Atlanta.
people are still hoarding.
Those senior hours aren’t working here. Any idiot shows up and the stores are letting them in. I have older neighbors all around me and they all tried the senior hour at different stores. They said the lines were no shorter anywhere because the stores aren’t enforcing it.
Thanks for your input.
A lot of paper mills listed across the USA but I don’t know their
process, what they make or if still operating.

The grocery stores sell out every morning 1-2 hours after opening.
Bite the bullet and be in line when they open.
None in my immediate area. I went to two supermarkets for T.P. and paper towels and the store looked like something in the former Soviet Union. The shelves were stripped bare.
Very disgusting because its not needed.
At the store a couple of days ago the shelves were empty, but there was a restock cart with a half dozen or so cases. The bad news...it was the generic brand, which Mrs. JimRed hates! So it was one of those damned if you do, damned if you don’t situations. Don’t buy it and maybe run out, or buy it and pi$$ her off.
Thanks. Maybe I’ll check them later this week. Running kinda low.
How far are you from the hive of scum and villainy, Austin? As I’ve said, Democrats seem to be the main actors in the panic buying.
