It is encouraging to me to realize the old saying about the “lie getting around half the world before truth comes out” is becoming a misnomer with today’s technology. I’m so thankful to watch things live or, better yet, on CSPAN with no narratives, than having to depend on MSM telling me what to think.
Yes, technology does allow the truth to at least get out of its stance, but that same technology is used to spread lies. I still think we come out ahead. This thing about Easter is really galling because I actually watched the President live, then spent the next few days telling otherwise intelligent people that they have been lied to very blatantly. As late as yesterday, Jake Tapper (as usual a suspect as there ever was) was claiming that the White House was trying to walk back the Easter claim by saying it was only “aspirational”. That’s all it ever was. The President was completely transparent when he said it.
