In the Friday March 27th briefing Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and State Health Commissioner Kristina Box once again declined to answer specific questions regarding the number of intensive care unit beds and ventilators available in Indiana, citing contracts between the state and individual hospital systems.

Holcomb said the state may be able to release more general, regional information, but did not provide a timeline for when that information could become public.

Box said, “I can tell you that I have talked to many, many of our hospital systems regionally and individually as a hospital system, they are very confident in their response to the situation.”

These folks need to try a new job--as a comedy act.

Declare a public health emergency, and tell the hospitals to cough up the data or get occupied by the National Guard.

Game. Set. Match.
