A professor of anesthesiology at the University of Florida is building an “open source” ventilator out of common items from hardware stores, in an effort to meet the desperately high demand.......UF officials said the machine can be built for as little as $125 to $250.
Makes you wonder how much it really costs to make an MRI, as they currently require an arm and a leg to get a scan.
