Here's graph of hospitalizations, compared to other years, and I have read that people with flu who also get infected with china virus get the Cv much worse.

The highest rate of hospitalization is among adults aged ≥ 65, followed by children aged 0-4 years and adults aged 50-64 years.

Interesting. The graph makes it look like around 600,000 people were hospitalized for flu in 2017-2018. CV has a long way to go to catch up.
