I don’t know if this is normal, and cold cases are solved regularly but don’t get a lot or press, or if some of the kidnapping gangs are being broken up and are giving up their secets. Keep an eye out for if a lot of cold cases suddenly get solved.
Sounds like the 2nd one might be alive. Disappeared at age 19. 23 years ago. Having children in this age range it just sends chills down my spine. She would be 42 years old now!

I think it would also depend on just how critically ill he was at the time he was given the drug. Unfortunately, it might have been too late to begin with. So it wouldn't be unusual in that case.
