Not necessarily specific to surviving COVID-19. I take 3 mg melatonin most nights at bed time, seems to help for drowsiness. Particularly helpful these past few weeks, due to intermittent anxiety when trying to sleep, just due to the news and uncertainties, etc.
I see, that makes sense. I have restless legs syndrome, and the only prescription medicine I take is for that condition. I take it at night about 30 minutes before I am ready for bed. It doesnt make me drowsy per se, but does help me relax enough to get to sleep. It works for me, thank goodness. Ive also got a weighted blanket that my son gave me for Christmas, and it helps a ton. In a way, it almost feels like Im being hugged on my legs. It keeps me from tossing and turning during the night, too. I hope that when it warms up, Ill still feel like using it.
