This is how I see it too. The compassionate move to keep the elderly out of harm’s way is to prevent Medicare from bankrupting the country. So that’s out of the way, if the elderly keep sequestering. But the rest of it may be too much.
What we couldn’t be convinced of intellectually we are going to have to learn to love.
Actually this is a pretty quick kill, so I think unchecked Corona would actually be a big positive for SocSec and Medicare financials.
Single payer won’t be because of anything that happens to the over 65’s.
