Good luck with that. Absent approval of promising treatments, and assuming this thing is immune to summertime, we could be getting clusters of this crap all summer, as people start coming out to play.

That's the best guess that I had for someone who's taking a little time out to avoid the intermittent, misinformed store mobs. If the bug moves as expected, most people will be more cautious (afraid), less inclined to go out and more tolerant of clerks wearing partial protection then. Seems paradoxical, eh? Easier for trained people to avoid getting it from surface contamination than from wandering, emitting spreaders.
