“Yep. Lives do not matter to the flu bros, only the stock market. To heck with how many die as long as my portfolio Is intact./s”
I’m pretty sure I’ve never been accused of being a flubro.
But I can observe that we are witnessing an ESSENTIAL event in human sociology, one likely to have occurred thousands of times in human history.
When coming upon rich hunting grounds...the tribe started getting sick and dying in large numbers. The sick and their care takers want to lay low and “pull through” with as little suffering and loss of life possible.
The strong and the healthy and the property interests insist on moving out of the “valley of death”.
While that cohort is patient, they also exhibit great frustration at their empathic brethren, wondering why the survival of the tribe and traditions is not foremost in the minds of the care takers.
Eventually, they move on and leave the sick and the caretakers.
that’s just the way things are going to be. and it’s why all of us are even here today.
These Flu Bros want to walk right into the middle of the Valley of Death and throw a toga party. We know that path is the wrong one.
I wasn’t insinuating that you were a Flu bro Mariner. My post was pure sarcasm.
I hope we are turning a corner, looks that way in many areas except for the current hot spots. We shall see in a couple more weeks I guess.
