We are NOT in the recovery phase. Airborne-transmissible virgin field epidemics are not "events" unless they are beaten down early like SARS and MERS were. Instead they are processes which proceed in multiple waves. IMO this is the first wave and infections won't peak until May or June, with deaths peaking a month later.
Then it will come back at us around September. Hopefully an effective cure will be available to abort the third wave when it starts up late this year.
