What I've learned from FR. The virus molecule isn't very complicated and is broken up with soap. Once it loses a component, it's rendered inert.

Wash your hands frequently, with soap, for twenty seconds.

I've also learned that the virus can live for up to seventeen days on an inanimate surface. So the package of bread I bring home, I either have to wash it, with soap, for twenty seconds, or quarantine it in my basement for seventeen days. Otherwise, when I open the wrapper, and reach in and touch a piece of bread.......

The possibilities are overwhelming.

That is unnecessary. See post #28 . You could just fill a spray bottle with 3% hydrogen peroxide (same as water, just 2 oxygen molecules to one hydrogen) and spray the wrapper well, or dumb the bread into zip-lock bag.
