Not sure of the purpose of that much. I was taught that the body could only absorbed 250 mg at a time and the rest was excreted in urine.
250mg tabs are hard to find. I have been chewing 500mg Vit C twice a day for the past 2 wks.

Exactly! For maximum effect take a little bit of C throughout the day. And in my book this way of taking C is the best defense for anyone worried about the corona virus.
