I'm guessing based upon your screen name you hold it against her that she has been heavily involved in combating AIDS.
For me, the fact AIDS is predominantly a gay disiease is irrelevant as to whether she is a good physician/scientist, highly experienced in pandemic disease efforts, and an extremely valuable member of Trump's team.
