Besides, speaking generally, Italians are much thinner than Americans.
And still their death rate rises.
Italian culture is so different from ours - the greetings, the social atmosphere, it’s all so much closer and touchy. I really loved N Italy when deployed there - especially the mountains and the food. (The deployment sucked very badly. Salute to 509th INF.)
I can’t imagine trying to get Italians to social distance!!!
