GA - Hospital Field Report
Starting to really ramp up here. Not at full occupancy but a much higher number of ambulances coming in sirens blaring. We’ve had as many negatives as positives over recent days but numbers are creeping up.
PPE still a concern, especially gowns. Plans are in place to expand to parking lot for triage next week, tents being the order of the day. M.A.S.H. without the choppers...or Hot Lips.
Troubling to see younger cases each day. HIPPA prevents me from any specifics but this is certainly not impacting only seniors.
I’m dealing with it as best I can but feeling very detached/military game face. A lot of us seem absolutely terrified of one another as we navigate the halls, as if each person you meet could be a suicide bomber.
Alcohol helps...not good.
