Rush has definitely blown it on this one. Perhaps it's because he's got other things on his mind and doesn't have the bandwidth to keep up with things not related to his own health. I don't mean that as a criticism. When my sister had breast cancer, I got a wake up call about how much of your attention it takes. You have to keep track of every. damn. thing. that happens to you. It takes over your whole life. So I'm willing to cut him some slack, but he does need to be educated on this.
I am less generous. What he displays is typical with loudmouths who are good at something. Most people are smart enough to known when they enter a domain they dont understand. They look up, Why is it called this. Thats most of us.
Then there are personalities like Rush. They believe their own marketing. And they take off and make pronouncements because they are usually right.
Except when they arent. But they will never back up and admit they are wrong...even on the smallest stuff.
Its a personality thing. The cancer does take away a ton of info. If he is getting chemo...everything he pronounces should be questioned because chemo-brain is a real thing.
Rush will learn when he gets his ratings.
