Very true, we will be start stop start stop for 18 months if we do not get a vaccine. Hopefully the meds work

Sort of. The flu has many strains, some give you some immunity to others, some not. That (and vaccines) is why only a 5th or so of the population catches it in any given year.
This has only 2 strains, so far. The doctor I know in the mitigation effort says it is not guaranteed that one will grant you immunity to the other.
