Your statement is very logical.
Herd immunity is the only way to fight this. Italy may be the safest country in a month or two.
This is what you get in a global economy.
We cannot shut ourselves down. Do we want to be vulnerable to China? They will do anything to get ahead of us economically.
Shutting ourselves away does nothing. Have the young and brave go back to work.
I hope we wean ourselves away from China.

How do you even know there is immunity from this disease? This is not like a disease we have ever seen in our lifetime.

Every time countries loosen the reins the disease roars back.

Why don’t you step back, take some time and read what we are REALLY dealing with here.

“Herd immunity”

A good debate here. I think the USA is doing Herd Immunity to save as many lives as possible. Flatten the curve.

Here is something to add to the debate:
If the virus is attacking more young people would the shut down be justified?

If the virus cause people to be injury for life (bad lungs) is the shut down justified?

I think we will seen those answers soon.

China question:
If we shut our self down we would be vulnerable economically and Military. We need the factories open to produce stuff for the Military and Medical

I will have to go on the answer we need to balance the actions out. They need to get a blood test to determine who caught it already, so we can our medical people back to work. We can use that get people back to the factories. I think they are close to that test now.

As for the future: We need to pull factories out of China. If we must have factories overseas we need them in different part of world not just one country.
