Anybody with a brain had guns and ammo first.
And centuries ago.
I have no sympathy for those scrambling to buy now.
The stupid reap what they have sown.
“I have no sympathy for those scrambling to buy now.”
I understand and agree, but I am inherently against shutdowns and curtailments of individual liberty unless it is demonstrably for the common good! :)

It looks like some of the muggles, at least, have figured out the high tech supply chain issues...and are buying things like mad.
The others are still scratching their heads and wondering why they’re out of laptops...
I went and picked up an additional gun and ammo while the FluBros were scoffing at hand sanitizer shortages. No customers besides me were in the store. They ran my background check in less than an hour.
I went out days later for other items, my last trip out, and decided to pick up more ammo - hunting ammo, this time, just in case I need to put food on the table the old fashioned way - and the store was packed, out of a lot of different kinds of ammo and had bouncers. They had a huge stack of backlogged background checks and were telling people to expect it to take 24 hours. The guy there, owner I think, told me they had sold hundreds of guns in the past couple of days. Fortunately I didn’t have to wait on an ammo purchase.
