I saw a post earlier that compared the daily CV deaths to the daily flu deaths in Milan, but I don’t recall the details.
However there have been many posts of articles and videos showing a 10-fold increase in obituaries from a month ago. So that might give you a sense of the increase in deaths.
Too many people playing number games for political ends. Have to rely on secondary indicators.

I doubt that childhood vaccines are why the kiddos aren’t getting sick. Their immune systems are just different. It’s why they get chickenpox and mumps and it’s not a big deal. Get those at 30 and it’s a really big deal sometimes.
Doctors and nurses particularly get the ‘whole schedule’ before they start rounds from what I understand. My niece who is a pharmacist did too. She got like 5 or 6 jabs over a week or two.
The 90% loss was both to the entire population of the pre-Columbian Americas in general, which took more than 150 years, and to that of pre-Conquest Mexico in particular, which took 50-60 years. Hundreds of waves of epidemic diseases, mostly new ones, swept across them in that period. The major killer in Mexico was measles, not smallpox. I don’t know if there was a dominant killer for all of the Americas.

No. Usually it’s one or more of the old strains. They have some process for deciding which flu strains to include in the vaccine. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes, not so much.
When a new strain appears it is usually in the form of a pandemic because nobody’s immune system has seen it before. Then it becomes a member of the “old strains club” and gets rotated into the vaccine cycle when they develop one.
Vaccine development is normally about an 18 month process, so it is typically two flu seasons before it gets included. The second season the strain won’t generally be as bad because there will be some herd immunity acquired from the prior year.
Viruses also mutate. DNA based viruses (like some that cause some kinds of warts, IIRC) not nearly as quickly as RNA (like CCP-19, the cold and influenza) viruses. But how the virus mutates will affect how immunity is carried forward. If it mutates in a way that is invisible to your immune system, you stay immunized. If it mutates in a way that makes it look different, you lose at least some immunity.

I don’t think it’s even legal. Telling doctors which drugs they can give out in violation of federal compassionate use laws, never mind without a legislative vehicle. Lawsuit city.
