Once I had that same problem. Got tired of taping posters in the neighborhood searching for it. Now I keep it on a short leash and a muzzle when out and about...turns out to be a real chick magnet.
I've become the Frank Perdue of the boulevard with little chickens following me everywhere. YMMV

Don’t feel too bad about that. I have a lot of days when the humor of a comment or situation escapes me. Which is why it seems sometime I’m ignoring those who crack jokes.
