Good morning. Your energy at this hour on a Monday is an inspiration! I hope your outings are a success today.
I’ll have to take a Pat Driving Adventure later ... but not yet. He’s still asleep.
The first five hours of the day have always been my most productive, but these days, when the fifth hour is on the way out, so is my stamina and the rest of the day is a wash.
Which is why I choose to do hand crafts. If I have to sit and do nothing, I’ll keep my hands busy.
When I get back from my appointment, I’ll be worn out, and tomorrow’s shopping trip at the thrift store is looking grimmer and grimmer. I suspect I’ll have to cancel.
In other news, my Favorite Son and his wife called yesterday, just as I was settling into bed. I was getting ready to eat my “supper” of crackers and rice pudding, and the pills were stuck in my throat, waiting for a “pusher.” The call lasted over 40 minutes, but it was fun. He always falls into such good luck.
They bought a dual recliner loveseat with the drink island between, but it hurt Favorite DiL’s neck, so they went back to the store and were told that as long as they got something of equal or better value, they could trade it in within 30 days. The trade-in is a plain loveseat, but the sofa goes with it and that has dual recliners. Those folks can’t live without their recliners! :o]
I take it Elen, USMC knows you like mushrooms? What a thoughtful gift. I might check the kit out, just because I like mushrooms.
