Mayor Putz doesn’t panic. Every act is based on his belief that he knows better than the rest of NYC what’s good for them.
He stated in an interview that the denizens of NYC would prefer he decide where buildings get built than letting the market decide.
He’s grabbing power because he can, not because he cares about helping the residents of his city. Whether they are helped or hurt doesn’t factor into his mind at all.
