Looks like the first foray into the jungle!
Good morning.
I’m not excited about my trip into St George, and I’ll ask once again when they will reopen the Hurricane store. Now that summer is full on (104° today, lowering by a few degrees a day for the next week) it will be harder and harder for me to make that drive.
I can only hope to move by this time next year.
I had ordered a PenTel aluminum mechanical pencil (cheaper, and free S&H) and tracked it from the day of the shipping notification. It was delivered yesterday. But not to me. Must be a substitute mail carrier, because Adam never misses a trick.
So I sent a complaint to the USPS to let them know I don’t appreciate sloppy work. We’ll see if it turns up. Or if I have to order another. So that’s what has taken some time this morning. Plus reading news...
So now, I’m going to go wash my face off and comb my head. Maybe then, my day can start. For real.
The rain has stopped here, but it’s too wet for Epic Fail Lawn Service to do anything. The Advanced Grass Substitute - “Another word for ‘weeds’ is ‘nature’!” - will strangle us in our beds.
