Wasn’t the De Havilland Comet the first commercial jet?
Considering that they carried only 32 passengers, 8 in front first class cabin and 24 in steerage have to wonder what ticket prices were like.
Anybody else get the sense that there’s altogether too much posting in tongues lately?

Yes.
The Comet was the first commercial jet airliner.
Oddly, the Bristol Brabazon was a competing (lol) aircraft.
Sadly all Brabazons were scrapped.
