I hope you get all your stuff back on!
There was a power flicker here while we were away: the only thing that registered it was my bedside clock.
Google says the Post Orifice opens at 8:30, so we’ll leave about 8:00 on the first excursion. I also need to go to Walmart, but that can be separate.
Good morning. Happy Humph Day!
I didn’t know people recycled kittehs.
Everything is back on except the A/C and I opted for opening the doors since the outside temp is in the 50°s and the A/C is set for 80°. Of course, it means I need to wear a light jacket, but that’s OK!
I don’t know if Walmart will change their hours, but I’ll go on the assumption that they open at 0700. GAH! That puts it close to the edge of my stamina limits and I hate that.
Good morning.
I think I’ll call my son’s in-laws today and let them know that Rooster Run is open, now. We all want to try it.
There’s not much market for recycled kittens, what with the low cost of new product.
Vlad says the D&D game is cancelled. Maybe the Dungeon Master is poorly.
It’s gloomy here today, but not as cold. After the excursion, I’ll turn on Jonah Goldberg and get on the treadmill.
That could be a pleasant change of scene. Is it a roller coaster?
No, actually, its a chain restaurant that was open just two weeks before everything was shut down. The parking lot was always full, and since its neighbors are a gas station and a motel, that’s to be expected.
So, since the in-laws like to go out to eat at least once a week, I thought I would tell them, so I don’t have to drive to St George. It’d getting to that time of year when driving 30+ minutes one way in 100+ heat isn’t fun. The truck and I both overheat.
And with that, Odin smile upon you all. I’m off on an Expotition with whatever young persons climb in the van before I drive off.
I hope it works out for you and the in-laws to have a meal.
In other news, USPS says you’re expecting a package on Monday. Don’t miss the bat stickers.
Way cool! I like stickers!!
I have noticed that: we often receive cute frog illustrations.
Yes, well, *ahem* frogs are the things that always seem to have a smile, so what’s not to like? ;o]
Geckos have a smile, too.
Off to Walmart, yippee.
My Walmart trip was hurried, but tough going, with four cases of water in the cart. All because I felt too bad to think clearly when I could have gone two days in a row and gotten two cases each time. I guess this place won’t be tested for mold until heck freezes over.
On the other hand, you might not have wanted to go the next time. Hopefully you’ll move to a new place before heck freezes over.
Vlad says Your Local Game Store will open for live games on June 1. I hope nothing interferes!
Chances I good that I wouldn’t have felt up to going, the next day or even the next week. Chuck has been bringing me water but he’s a little slow. I couldn’t wait, as I only had enough for today, or I would have had to break into my stash, and I don’t want to do that because it’s so hard to replace.
:o])
Nap with Jake, accomplished. Now I guess I’ll cut up some vegetables for supper. The sun has come out: that’s a nice improvement.
It’s time for me to take my aggravatin’ bundle and head down the hallway. It took me four hours to install the greeting card program because I didn’t know what to look for. I stopped in the middle and went to Walmart, and was able to get someone at MS to chat and tell me what to look for after I got back.
So it’s installed, finally. Maybe by the time I’m ready to head to CO I’ll be able to make a greeting card! ;o]
So I’m off for now.
